Was taking pictures of Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs and came across this guy. He was very different to the others. Is he a different speices or just unusual colours (or lack of it)?

That colour patterning is not unusual in L. fallax. They can be variable from all green to all brown and everything in between. They all have a white stripe along the upper lip however which is a good ID feature.

That sort of colouration is fairly common, the can have various amounts of the brown and green colour in differant shades. In sunlight some look a metalic gold or bronze colour. Most large adults seem to be a uniform colour though.
