Heh it looks like someone stuffed an adult Amyae in a chicken egg.

Hehe I'm curious about what it actually is though.. perhaps a Tuatara? No idea.
 
Its a $2 shop snake egg you put in water and watch it hatch :):):)
 
im pretty sure thats a dinosaur! probably not a good idea to hang around while it gets bigger!

So how does it work. I was looking at one yesterday but didn't know what to expect.

They are just a little bit of fun for the eerrmm? kids :oops: Ok i am busted :lol: but it was a present. I think that they slowly take on ever increasing amounts of water slowly expanding to break out of the egg. They continue to grow, Ours has just started so ????? but it is something different that is quite fascinating.
 
They hatch after ~24hrs in water then it takes like 2-3 days to get big (then they shrink a bit after being dry for awhile).
I thought it took a fair while considering theyre for kids (I was impatient lol), I dont know many kids who can get a new toy and not be able to play with it for a few days :)
