So I recently got a Spotted Phyton and she got up into the runners of her cage, got her down and put her into a click clack inside the cage while we thought of ways to solve the problem.
With it all being fixed up now we decided to allow her to go back into the main cage Wednesday night, so we opened the click clack and out she came. She went over to her favourite log and was basking on it.
Skip forward to today and since we haven't seen her anywhere in there. Now she used to hide under that log during the day and come out at night but this hasn't been the case, she hasn't come out. We're not sure if she's coming up for a slough and she might be hiding due to that or another reason.
We though of maybe putting a mouse in to coax her out as I don't want to lift the log and upset her. Although I'm worried she may be injured or sick.
Any ideas of what might cause her to hide for so long?
Thanks,
Shane

My spotted loves to hide under the hay. I bearly see mine unless he's about to shed or at night a few days before he's feed
