Just thought I would let everyone know just incase anyone takes their dog the the dog park at Jamison oval in Penrith. My neighbor was their yesterday and someone was threatening to put baits in the park to try and kill the dog. So it probably best avoided for a while. It's a pity that there are lowlifes like this.

Have a friend who also showed me a picture of cheese cubes with small nails in them, be very careful peeps. Sad to think there's tools out there like this. If we could only catch them doing it. (insert mental picture of not so nice behaviour towards those)

Not so long ago there were a few cases of baiting at parks.......these happened at children's parks, it is unfortunate for the dogs that ate them, but it could have been a hell of a lot worse if it were a child! Also in the street behind us, in the last 3mnths have had 4 seperate dog poisonings.......all bar one of these dogs died......my dogs are now sectioned off away from my fence, & when im out, they are inside, with only the patio to get to outside. Why someone would do it is confusing, just something else i will never understand i guess!

Dole check wired to the pin on a grenade maybe? Oxygen theives are everywhere.

That's worrying, our fence is extremely simple to open, and is open to public's view, I was starting to worry about idiots opening the gate and letting our little pooch go, but this...

one of the first things a dog should be taught is to eat on command imo, prevents baiting poisoning.

I have done this with my dogs in the past.......i had them as puppies. But the 2 i have now.......both rescues, & both unfortunately eat whatever, whoever is giving them!

What really annoys me is that the dog park is a great place for dogs to run around free as its all fenced off, so should be nice and safe. Until some idiot who should be shot wants to harm people's pets.

Did that with our first rottie for just this reason. He was a rescue, but he caught on extremely well. It was also great with the kids, because he would never consider taking their food when they were little. We are not as strict with the current one, but our backyard is very secluded.
