weekend away?

hey ppls, just wanted some suggestions of places to go for a weekend away.....

i just want somthing a couple of hours out of sydney, fun activities, beach and maybe a place that does packages?

any suggestions much appreciated

Bry, try port stephens. I am sure there will be alot of activities and nightlife etc to suit you. Even closer to home you have the central coast. Plenty of stuff available.

Your a wine lover aren't ya Bry? Come to Mudgee and go to all the vineyards.....i would take ya for a tour but i hate wine

I'm told the Hunter is also pretty good for a weekend away. I think some of the wineries are open on weekends for tastings and things like that.

Or you could go to Dubbo, and stay overnight in the Safari camp at Western Plains Zoo.

Or there's Nigmax's Caravan Park on Phillip Island, only 14 hours drive from Sydney. :twisted: And he knows how to party!!! :twisted:

There is a place down south called seven mile beach caravan park at Gerroa, which is takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there from Blacktown. have been going there since before i could remember, an awsome spot great pub within staggering distance and plenty of beach. check it out.

My mate lives on seven mile beach and is a top place to chill and go windsurfing. Also the NP there is pretty good for running around in. Nightlife aint too good there tho.

Shoal bay up at Port Stephens is pretty good as well. There is one pub there and is pretty good on weekends.
