We have just finished competing in the light tackle masters fishing comp again for this year. had a few average days, with average weather, but yesterday in very average seas we had a ripper of a day. plenty of strikes and hookups. we didn't get them all in, a few tuna and mahi mahi, but after chewing through just over 1000 litres of diesel for the weekend we finally starting hooking up on what we came for (black marlin).
Hooked onto a few but snapped a few lines after a few hours fighting them, here's the one that didn't get away- tag and release of course. We were on 8kg line.
