I've gone the other way with rodents, they don't even look like animals to me any more, they look like a loaf of bread or processed food pellet. I have to remind myself they're animals. It's rare for me to get live ones these days, but I have to remind myself to be humane when I do, otherwise I'd treat them like vegetables

A few people get attatched to their rat/s ar mice. i know that sxe had one that he believed didn't deserve to die after what it had survived. just depends i spose.
