now before someone goe's on about me not being a licenced catcher it was me pick it up or snake with no head.

Do they smell funny? I know that is a strange question but the pig dogs dig them up so I thought maybe they had a strange smell about them?

Did you remove ALL the wood? Maybe there was a snake in the pile that u didnt uncover? Youd have to be pretty stupid to mistake a snake for an echidna!!

Youd have to be pretty stupid to mistake a snake for an echidna!!

Where did you release her?

Jo it was in the new estate being built near langwarrin flora and funa so i realesed the guy there took him up into the sand dunes where all the ant hills are

Only four? When i handled them at Taronga - even the tame ones - I'd usually end up with a hell of a lot more than four holes, and often with a dozen or so in my chest/belly too.

The holes don't really annoy me as much as the little lumps around the punctures that develop 30 mins later. They itch.

:p
