It all started with my super sensitive daughter having a severe allergic reaction to sandfly bites........this then lead to a horrific infection in her leg. She was put on really strong antibiotics on monday, but monday night had yet another severe reaction, this time to the medicine. After an overnight stay in hospital, we came home yesterday to what was meant to be some relaxation time.......well that was short lived, my son then pulled the iron from the top of the cupboard down onto his head last night......OMG ive never seen so much blood! It was everywhere, all down my walls, all over the carpet, all down my boys head, ear, neck & arm........yes......i pulled a physco mum moment & totally freaked out:oops:, which of course made things worse, my son asked me if he was going to die! So after another trip to the hospital, we are now hopefully going to have no drama's/accidents anytime soon! & i am working on teaching myself to breathe when my kids hurt themselves next........breathe in, breathe out, stay calm!

Wow....that stuff comes in threes so you should be right now!

I sure hope so! I think ive aged about 20yrs this week! Bloody kids owe me a holiday! ;)

:| Well my week hasnt gotten much better! Things come in 3's......well i have had a double dose this week! My daughter's lab results came back yesterday, & she has a staph infection. Not only can it become quite serious but as she is allergic to so many things, finding an antibiotic for her hasnt been fun. Hoping the one she is on now works, as its the only one she hasnt reacted to!
Then as we have been at the docs so much, she remembered it was time for my annual breast ultrasound check, as last year i had severe pains & after a check, lumps were found. Well i also got those results back yesterday.......& the news isnt the best. Off for some more tests today.........& yes i am scared!
& finally, after returning from the doc yesterday, i was 'served' at my front gate......& back to court with the physco ex we go! OMG, will it ever end!

Wow! What a shocking run. They say life wasn’t meant to easy. I don’t think it was meant to be that hard, either! You have my utmost sympathy. I only wish there was something I could do. Words fall so short of the mark at such times. Will certainly be thinking of you while you wait on the next lot of results. Wishing both you and your daughter good luck with the medical outcomes.

Concerned,
Blue

Once again Mike, your words have touched my heart. You truly are such a caring, thoughtful, honest man, & it so touching that you care for others the way you do. Thank you so much for your thoughts. I do believe in positive thinking, & at the moment this seems to be all i have to hang on to, so i will stick with it, & keep hoping for the best!

Oh my god... I'm so sorry for all that has happened! I hope your daughter pulls through well.
I hope your lumps have been detected early enough for treatment, and that you also pull through well.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
