my coastal has gotten out again this time the female followed, it has been 2 days now with no site of them even after a full nite stakeout last nite, do snakes have the tendency to hang around where they were brought up and where there food source is or do they just take a long journey?

If they have gotten outside ...you got as much chance really as finding rocking horse poo or hens teeth ...its warm weather your in QLD ...and plenty of rodents around your area(I am taking you live in LOGAN in QLD) ...good luck I hope ya do find the pair ...best be getting off before the evil twin of mine says something I may get a warning over ,,,,

yep live in logan, ive got more mice that i breed at my house than wat would be around it so im just putting the in bird cages everywhere. thanks guys

haha id take offence to that but over 30 years here i know wat you mean just glad im in wat you would call a nice part of logan that and the 7 foot colourbond fence i have to keep the goon drinkers out lol

No offence but what is this the fifth time now that you've allowed the snake to escape:shock:

Some people just don't learn and shouldn't own snakes in my opinion....

Ben

Monty all the best as I said before ..I am not gonna flame you over your stupidity as you obviously know now from losing both snakes, especially it being a second time of escape ...so go stand in the mirror put your hand up behind your head and give yourself a thick head ..that will make me happy ...and then go look again ya just never know they could be right under your nose AND FIX YOUR ENCLOSURE man!! ;)

Glad you found them :D

A freind of ours has a coastal who, from what I can gather, did the same thing, pushed so hard against the door it burst open. He got his back after a hour or so. Reinforcements were made and put in place!

Little buggers!

got them back at 1am this morning Marc they were both helping themselves to a nice feed in my mice breeding tanks, and i have reinforced the enclosure till i can get a big one you should see how fast they have grown mate
