What do u do if someone wants to buy an rep eg a EWD and they dont have a permit but they are only going to have this and they have nothing els so its legal to not have one
do u have to write there address in your book and just say no permit?

What do you mean???
They have to get a licence before they purchase.

but people are alowed to have 1 animal without a permit

maby its just south australia?

South Australia laws are that you can legally keep one native reptile without a license? (to my knowledge), sorry don't know how you would catalogue it though?

from http://www.environment.sa.gov.au/biodiversity/faunapermits/
Native animals are classed into one of the following
Unprotected Species - These animals are not protected in the wild. A permit to keep or sell these animals is not required.
ExemptSpecies - These animals are fully protected in the wild. A permit to keep or sell these animals is not required.
Basic - These animals are fully protected in the wild. These animals are usually easy to keep in captivity. A permit to keep and sell these animals is required. A permit is not required to keep 1 individual, however the sale or disposal of that individual animal would require a permit.
Specialist - These animals are fully protected in the wild. A permit to keep and sell is required. These animals are not generally kept in captivity. They are considered to be of high status as a result of illegal trading or demand from trade, and/or animals which require special feeding or housing, and/or animals which are endangered in their natural environment and/or animals which require special expertise for handling and security.
I think EWD are classed as basic there

I no what u mean but i think thats saying if u have just 1 a sale or disposal will require a permit

it doesnt mean u need them to have a permit to sell it too them

otherwise how would they ever get just 1 rep because no one could sell it to them

u no what i mean?

I'm assuming the above is in English.
My interpretation is that
A/ For you to sell the animal you need a permit and need to record it
B/ For him to buy the animal he does not need a permit PROVIDING it is his only protected animal ( bird, reptile or furball)
C/For him to sell the animal he would need to obtain a permit

yea i agree with u thats what the laws are

but i still dont no what i have to do if i sell someone there 1st and there only reptile or baisic permit animal what would i write in my book?

yea thats what i thought with the name and address ill call epa on monday and find out what to do

thanks everyone
