what is about this Taipan/Tiger video?

You people are talking about some Taipan/Tiger videotape from Herpshop.
Can somebody post here bit more about it? It is worth the money? please give me your opinion before I buy it.

it is actually two dvd's, one is about tiger's and the other is about taipans. The dvd is done by Rob bredli, and ment to be full of lots of information on these species.

Very very good if you are interested in any of these species.

Actually I have only seen the Taipan one which has to be one of the best doco's on Australian reptiles that I have ever encountered. It is not full the the hype and drama that is so common in shows that are tailored for the American market. This was the show that was discussed in the recent thread titled something like "World's most dangerous snake". The bit that stood out for me was the way that Rob Bredl explains his theory on why Taipans are as venemous as they are and then supports the theory with amazing footage of a Taipan "taking out" a burrow full of rats in a rapid series of lightenting fast strikes. It is a DVD that stick in your mind and keep you thinking.

The Tiger Snake DVD is meant to be a comprehensive run down on all (Australian) Tiger snakes. Why they evolved the way they have and why they are so adaptable. If is half as good as the Taipan DVD it is great value.

Useless information - most of the Tigers used for the filming are from Venom Supplies, and were filmed in big fish tanks and local creeks/bushland. From what I hear, it's an awesome video, nothing like his "Dangerous Creatures" crap...

Slatey, have seen both shows and definately recommend them. Well done with some great snake sequences. go ahead and order both. They are worth it.
