What macro?(photographers help)

So i im getting a canon 550d in a week or so and i want to take very close pics and landscape
For the close ups i would be wanted to take pics of like flowers,reptiles eyes, just quite close stuff
and i would lie to know what you people use and think what the best macro is

for distance shots
i was wanting the canon ultra super sonic lens to zoom right in

Price range?

My best macro is a 105mm Sigma - a very good value lens and very good for close ups!

I purchased mine for around $450 for the Olympus. Not sure what the Canon price was.
