Well see GTFs are found in the same area as White Lips, up far north QLD. So while the Whitelips NEED the heat, the Greens can take it.

all depends on the size of your GTF's.... I have kept white lips, red eyes, mags, peron's, rubella's, rothii's & dainty's with relevant sized GTF's before.

I concur on the size factor. If you are looking long term or have a fully grown GTF then this will limit what you can keep with it. I am assuming that you are aware that frogs are very cannibalistic and will eat ant frog small enough to fit into their over-sized mouths.

If your GTF is a Sydney local then it won’t particularly like the heat supplied for White-lipped and Magnificents. Peron’s, Green & Golden Bell, Yellow Spotted and Sothern Bell are usually large enough as adults to share with an adult sized local GT.

If you are dead-set keen on getting some Magnificents, I would get hold of some GTF from the NT or northern Qld that will expect a similar temperature range. While the Sydney GTF will tolerate higher temperatures it really is not geared to them year round. It is naturally geared to a Sydney winter and just won’t thrive as well under the continuously higher temperatures. There is a difference between thriving and surviving. Peron’s would be an excellent choice for a Sydney GTF, especially given the contrast in appearance, where each would tend to highlight the other. They are an interesting and active frog, more so that the GTF. Just get them at roughly equivalent sizes and go for it!
