My large male Green Tree Frog has developed a weird bump in the middle of his lower 'lip'. Is is a bizarre looking bump and I have no idea what it is.... He is still eating and seems happy. Can anyone tell me what this is? Will attach a pic.

Thank you.

Kristen.

Looks to me like he`s torn his lip, maybe jumped into the glass or something?

By the look of lost skin around the frogs head, it looks as if he has been doing some serious rubbing trying to get out of it's enclosure, can you post a pic of what you are keeping it in?

would lean towards that too Jason ....lots of missing skin and the lip looks sore..

Thank you for your responses everyone.

Yes, he does tend to rub at the corners of the lid of his enclosure. He has a large square tank with a mesh lid. I will post a picture asap.

Have enquired at the local vet to see if they will see him.

Does anyone know of any specific reptile/amphibian vets in Sydney?
