and yes ive heard all the jokes but wouldnt mind hearing some new ones :D

im From Hamilton New Zealand and gave up sheep for reptiles. (had to get in there before anyone else :):)

I?m from Paisley in Scotland, and before anyone asks, yes I?m a Celtic supporter :D :D :D

I'm coming from a land down under.

Strathbogie, Aberdeen, Alba (Ireland was originally called Scotland), with a predominantly Pict background. And no, I'm not a Celtic supporter! As much as it pains me to admit it, I follow an english team (Hi Jacob!)

My family is multigeneration Australian Irish. Both left foot and on the hill. Mostly from Cork
Fathers grand father was a traindriver ended up in SA.My grandfather comes from Cork
My mums side is mixed Irish and Cornish.
Fortunately or not the Cornish family names were passed on to various cats. Sefton and Treloar. You be the judge.

I am an Aussie, born in Leeton (but don't ever remember being there).
Garth has an Irish father and an English mother and came out here when hes was twelve months old. All the years his father has been out here, I still can't understand what he says!!
Oh and Garth thanks god everyday that his parents decided to migrate!!!!

Well I dunno if I count cos I was born here but I'm half skippy half wog...souvlaki wog that is :D

interesting thing with my heritage. my moms a pomme and their line of pomme goes back a fair bit. supposably theres a minute amount of jamacian in there or somthin?(to my understanding my moms pomme ancestry was more colonial)

however on my dads side now that i live in australia and am a australian citizen i am like the 7th generation of my family to live here. my sis is like 6th to be born here. supposably they came over early on.

basically my heritager goes right back to england cept the supposably small amount of jamacian in me(though i can't be certain about that, need to check the loveluck family tree)

I have worked on and off on my Family Tree over the last five years. I am seventh generation Aussie and a real mongrel. I am a Irish, Scottish , English (Cornwall), Danishish, Welsh, Jew. My wife is Itaian/ Irish.
So my kids are about as Aussie as you can get.

Oh and Garth thanks god everyday that his parents decided to migrate!!!!

:D I sure agree with Garth!! Everyday I am SO thankful to have moved to Australia!!! As most of you know I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Our 3 children were born near Vancouver in Chilliwack (in the 70's and 80's)

I immigrated here in '99, (with my aussie husband) and will become an official Aussie citizen on Australia Day 2006!! :D I and others I have spoken with find the quality of life in Australia so much better than Canada! I feel very lucky to be here!

Pure bred pommy

You say that like it's a good thing :D just kidding st

I was born in Switzerland cause my parents were travelling...but grew up in Perth then moved to Sydney when I was 15.

Born and raised in Melbourne, from Mauritian parents. I'm glad they moved here, I couldn't imagine living in a tropical paradise, laying on sunsoaked beaches. Seriously though, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than Australia.

Aussie all over, 8th generation 1 side and 7th the other. So where i come from would have to be convicts. :D
