Which Skink

Another ID request, what is this skink with the metallic green sheen to its head. Taken in a waterway in the North Burnett region of Queensland.

Looks like a Golden Water Skink

Should have given more detail, a largish lizard probably 6-7 inches and quite plump.

Isnt it an odd time of year for it to be about to give birth?

The photos were taken back last November, I have had big problems with Windows 7 (surprise surprise) and while going through backing everything up I came across it and realised I had forgotten all about it. Thanks for the ID guys.
