It appears nothing's off limits in most places! :?

Just nibbling my way through a very plain bowl of fried rice and I happened to be thinking - It could be worse :lol: Let me enlighten you with some of these choice foods from around the planet. Here is a few I found from the link at the bottom, which particularly stood out :shock:

Sardinia:
Maggot-Cheese Mmmm yes please!

Mediterranean:
Sheep's head. The whole thing, cooked and skinned. Includes the eyeballs.

China:
Breast Milk, Sea Cucumber, Jellyfish, Rat, Snake, Drunken Shrimp, Jellied Blood, Bear Paws, Cho Do Fu, Tiger Testicles, Owl Soup, Thousand-Year Eggs, Fish Floatation Bladder, Pork Uterus, Camel (and Cow) Tendons
(What don't they eat? :lol: )

India:
Cow Urine, Human Urine

and the worst one of all:

Australia:
Vegemite

I have read that the Chinese also eat human foetus ,i think its sposed to put lead in your pencil or something like that..
It's a bit sick if you ask me.

its a matter of how you are brought up. those things seem perfectly fine to those people. Indian people infact think its horrific that we eat beef

true, we think that its disgusting that in Korea they eat 'TigerPenis Soup" while this would be like us eating vegimite..

i love my vegemite lol im weird ive heard of small cultures in asia that eat only insects yummy i think the weirdest thing ive eva eaten is ox tail soup and it was pretty good

They eat sheeps balls out west here in Aus they call em prarie oysters,so if your eva out west and somebody offers you prarie oyster you know what they are.

I tried some crocodile a while back...not too bad but i prefer coral trout or red throat emperor!!!

Aboriginals still eat snakes we'd love to get into our collections and some asian countries eat snakes and make alcohol with a snake in it much like the worm in tequila!!!

Greebs i wonder who was the first to try muscles?

Hee, hee Yes I'm aware of that Hixy. I mentioned it to my wife after one of our kids was born, and asked how she'd like it served up :lol: She was sick everywhere after I explained some countries ritually eat them :roll: :oops: It must be hard to tell when I'm joking :wink:
