ive had a few beardies before, but this one i bought a couple of weeks ago is a bit of a weirdo and i was wondering is these signs mean that he might have been taken from the wild.. ?

i know it would be instinct, but none of my other 'captive' beardies were like this.

its actually pre cute, but when i sit out in the sun with him he is VERY aggitated about the aeroplanes flying over head.. even know they are heaps far away. (i live near an airport)

every time a bird tweets he is straight onto it lookin round in the trees for a bird.

i cannot pick him up without him blowing up like a balloon (he actually striked at me today lol)

he ducks for cover every time i come into his sights then does the harold holt when i leave.

pretty much, he is the gayest lizard i have ever bought and it seems he is getting worse.

the guy i bought it off DID give me his licence number ect. but i dont see how this can mean much.

he is a year and a half old apparently.

is there much i can do if he is wild because i would feel very bad if he was.

??????

pretty much the same, grumpy, scared, blows up when you walk past. goes nuts if you try get him out of the cage. hisses ect. could this just be lack of attention you think?

i rekon he is just frightened about being outside. he is only young.
when in his enclosure, which is new to him and maybe larger than what he is used to, he is using his survival skills to determine what is his best escape plans. he will change , when he knows u are no threat.
i have one that is great now but was crazy for my blood when young. he would jump towards me and try and bite me, it was fun. i wouldnt think he was wild caught just because he is acting different.

Don't forget not all keepers handle their reptiles unless absolutely needed.
I wouldn't say "lack of attention" just that not all keepers are looking for "sit in your lap" type reptiles.
