I have fractured my knee cap at work(after work) on Monday night. Now in full leg cast for 6 weeks. No driving, crutches, Domicillary Care, Wheelchair for partying, etc etc. Grrrr!!! Just got home from hospital. Cheers Cheryl

Are you getting compo? If it happened on the way home from work you should be covered.

looks like your a little worse of then i. i got my hand crushed yesterday and now have a bit of swelling and bruising. i'll be right in a few days though.

hope you feel better.

Feeling a bit better now I'm home SW. Hate the hospitals, even tho they looked after me pretty well, private room and all. Don't like the Morph tho. Made me itch all night Monday night. Reckon the Digesics will do me from now on for any pain. Only had the Morph prior to getting the cast on Tuesday arvo. Hope your hand feels good soon too! Cheers Cheryl

yes you should!! companies are leeches and when u get the chance you should suck back!!

LOL! Afro. Dave is trying to work out a method for getting me up the very steep steps of the Rat House(see da photos), so I can check up on things once he goes back to work next Mon. He's been on hols this week, lucky dog!! How about a flying foX? A ramp with pulleys to pull up the wheelchair?? LOL. Full plaster casts are a bumma, I tell you mate. Cheers

Hey Afro, mine is fair dinkum, did it when I was doing the close at the Tavern on Monday night on my own mind you. Glad I didn't need my mobile, as I'd already put it in the car before I went back to turn off the darn Sensor Light that wouldn't turn off on its own like it should have? Grrr!! The Tavern's fault as far as I'm concerned.

Really sorry to hear about your accident Cheryl ...hope it heals quickly.

best wishes, Jude

RR, i can just see you now, tyres smoking, arms going a thousand miles per hour trying to run down that one rat that just wont stay in its box!!! LOL

Hope the knee gets better asap, i know how you feel, i have some knee probs myself in the past. Thats what crashing to the ground and and pretending there is real enemy out there does to you...silly army games!!!

Cheers, Alan.

Hey Shermy thanks. Dunno if I can get the wheelchair up those steep steps of the Rat House container thing. Dave reckons he's gonna rig up a block and tackle so I can pull myself up. NOT! LOL!! Hey I know about those army games, my brother is in the Army, based at Albury/Wodonga at the moment.

Poor lad!! LOL

After years and years of bad knees in the defence, they have only just begun commissioning in knee pads!!!! Bit too late for some, but good for the up and coming soldiers.

Brother Paul has been in for 20yrs, and is getting a compassionate posting back home to Perth, so he can be closer to his daughter who is ill. He was going to retire, but reckons he's too young yet. He's a RSM. Thanks for the good wishes INNY!! How could I get too bored with all you mob to chat with here? Cheers Cheryl
