Woma eye trouble

I have a Woma about 750mm and long everything was going ok with him till about March , he had trouble shedding particularly the eyes, with the help of a friend i've assisted with his shedding twice now and both eyes came good but on both occations within a week the eyes were caking over again, I spoke to our local vet but he's at a loss too, I've now got some eye gel for humans from the chemist to soften the caking, but I'm pretty worried about him.

I hope someone can give me some advice

my woma did the same for awhile, i used the a moisture gel the vet gave me. it soon righted it self. the vet told me it was just poor shed and after a few it would work out and it did.

Thanks mate that gives me a bit of a lift I'll keep working with him and see what happens.
