I am not sure if i can post this here. I am sorry if im not allowed.
Here i go.
Today i lost my job. Because my boss ripped me off with over time and i confronted him. Now im jobless.
So i was wondering if any body knows i their is places hiring for workers. Around campbelltown areas.
I desperatly need to get a new job. I have a 3 month old daughter to support and misses centerlink money wont cover everything.
If you know of anything availble please please let me know.
I am willing to do anything at the moment.

sorry to hear,..call industrial relations and see if thats legal,....

and are entitled to a payout,..?

at the very least it might help u out till something else comes along,...

sign up with local labour companies, they might need a few extra hands getting things finished in the lead up to christmas,.....

If nothing else register yourself with a temp agency, as long as you can work on short notice it can be a good way to pick up a few extra days until you get a solid job(and it's also often a good way to get job offer)

Just don't give up looking. It might be a bit depressing at first, but don't let it get you down. Some employers are eager to get new blokes in over the Christmas break to cover for others. Good time to learn on the job. And yes, I'm speaking from personal experience. A rude, scumbag employer I once worked for gave me the $hytes one day and it went a little pear-shaped after that :lol: Good luck mate.

what was his reason for dismissing you?? if you know that then you can take it to the obudsmun if not with a union and get it sorted out through them under the unfair dismissal law. if he worked your *** off and then couldn't afford to pay you, he shouldn't have signed you on all those hours. i've had to deal with 2 bosses unfairly dismissing me so i know how the system works.

Im not sure y. But im not going to do anything. I just want another job so i can continue with my life.
I might be taking him to court for under paying me and continuesly ripping me off with overtime. And casual loading when i was casual.

Please just let me know if anyone knows anything availble.

I have worked in a law firms for the past twelve months in admin and have picked some stuff up..
I'm pretty sure that if you have been working there for a prolonged period of time that he has to give you notice. He can't just fire you on the spot.
I'm not sure how long you have to have been employed there or how much notice he has to give, but I know there's a law about it somewhere.

Call up legal aid and ask for advice, they will usually offer it for free. If not, take it to a firm and enquire about a claim.
I've seen some people get decent money on unfair dismissal claims. It all depends on your situation though.
