I don't know the full story on this one, but 8 months or so without food is nothing for a large Burmese python, I don't see how that counts as starving it to death, especially since it died AFTER it was confiscated. Not saying I support the guy, I'm sure he's a complete jerk, but the story sounds strange.

I was a HUGE and I mean HUGE fan of Jake "the snake" Roberts when I was a kid...loved to watch the WWF. Having said that, years on watching over the old tapes, there's no way I can stand seeing him throw all these snakes around the place, using cobras to bite other wrestlers (possibly venomoids), etc.

Also saw a documentary on him about 2 years ago and the bloke has a LOT of issues.

He also claimed Roberts had told him he was keeping the snake in a 12ft by 5ft tank.
