I am looking for a stimson or children's python for my partner's birthday, which is July 3rd and I wondered if there is anyone local (we live S.E suburbs) who is expecting hatchlings in the next few months, and would be interested in holding a snake for us untill then. My thoughts are that if i can get in contact with someone who is local, I'll be able to go and handle the snake afew times before buying it - as it's for a first time snake owner I want to be sure it's not a Devil Snake From Hell.
Also, I'm aware that most stimmies/children's can be snappy up until 3 or 4 months old, so I think it would be better to get one that would be past that stage by the time we get it - so it doesn't put him off the snake.
If anyone has any ideas or is willing to help me out, I would love to hear from you.
