Shingleback lizard (Tiliqua rugosa) and Blotched blue tongue (Tiliqua nigrolutea) with custom made timber enclosure.
Both lizards are in good health, eating well and don’t bite. The Shingleback (Stumpy) is very social, the northern (Squash) is a bit more timid, both are around 3-4 years old and have been living together their whole life. No issues with shedding, the shingleback shed just last week.
The enclosure was made by carpenters at Colonial Restoration Supplies, has been coated with a reptile safe stain, and has 2 vents - one on the back, one on the right. It can be removed from the stand for transport and also has 2 sliding doors that close magnetically, they can be easily removed for cleaning. Enclosure is fitted with 2 lights - Reptisun T5 HO (left on during day) and a Radiant 75 Watt infrared globe (left on at night, also comes with spare). Comes with a water bowl, thermometer, some rocks from the granite belt and a eucalyptus bark hide. Also comes with a bunch of extra accessories, 20-30 litres of coconut fibre bedding, ~400g of calcium powder, some mealworms, a scoop and the manuals for the lights.
Happy to answer any questions or give advice about caretaking, very sad to see them go, only selling as I soon won’t be able to take care of them. They’re both great pets, must go to a good home.
