Hey guys,

I've just tried again to feed my MD Python and its now 9 months and she still has not eaten. She just shed about 2 days ago and did a big crap. I really need help. She is about 2.7-3m long and 3 years old. She lives in a 1500x600x600 enclosure that's stay between 29-32 degrees Celsius. Has anyone been experiencing this problem with their snakes not eating? I need help

I wouldn't stress too much, at that size it can easily go 12 months without food. 2 days might be too soon after a shed to try feeding.
If you're especially worried though taking it to a herp specialist vet might not go astray and do something to ease your mind.
It'll eat eventually if your husbandry is right...

3 meters long and only 3 years old ? mmmmm ?
It is probably sick of the sight of food - my 17 yr old male carpet is 3 meters long . I know people power feed them to get them so big as quick as possible , but i dont approve. I once inherited a Bredli that was 3 m long , and was 7kg - small head , and it didnt eat for 14 months. It didnt loose much weight at all and i only offered it a rat once a fortnight. I didnt waste any food because i gave it to my carpet once Bredli refused. The beauty of having many snakes .
It shed 3 times in the 14 months . Then it started eating normally and all was good. So , i wouldnt worry too much .

My Stimmy went 10 months not eating. She shed twice during that time and didnt seem to drop much condition. She is now eating once a fortnight again. If it isnt dropping weight dont stress to much.
