Hi there all,

Now that beardie is on or around 16-17 weeks old (hatched 3/12/06), I was just curious as to any diet or living changes that I would be required to make at this stage of its life. I suspect it is a male but that wont alter anything as far as diet or lifestyle is concerned but I suspect I would need to introduce more greens into its diet as opposed to it having two feeds of woodies a day (normally 8-10 in each feed).

Would there be anything else that u would suggest I could change??? Its light cycle is back to around 12/12.

Thanks all once again. Your advice is stellar.

offer salads in the hope he'll eat them, keep feeding woodies as you are, i cut mine back to 1 feed of protien per day @ 8 months, every second day at 14 months and now they get woodies 1-2 times a week, (well, they will again when their diet is over) :)

I have Luciius (your ones sister) on one feed of insects per day and plenty of greens and i have now introduced flowers to her. She loves hibiscus. I give her beardy pellets approx 1-2 per week with her salad.
We gave Loki a pinkie mouse when we were feeding the snakes and Lucius seemed very interested in what Loki was eating. Not sure as to when i can offer Lucius pinkies. Might try her with a pinkie drumstick..........lol
Light cycles should remain the same.
How big is your beardie now, Ash?
Lucius is 23cms approx from snout to tip of tail.
