Hi all, new to AP&S forum. Can anyone please identify the skin i've just found in our garden. We live in Balgowlah Sydney NSW (Northern Beaches) and we live next to a national park! and are about 3km from the coast.

Hi all I am considering getting a snake but am unsure as to what type of python to get or are there easier snakes to keep than pythons?

finding it somewhat challenging to find out a bit more about these guys..... If anyone has any info, or knows where I can find out a bit more, or (better yet) potentially where I can get one (I'm in Brisneyland), would be great to find out.... Thanks ;)

this was taken by my parents who own a weekender at Glen Lyon dam near Texas, QLD. They kept arriving to find things knocked off shelves and thought it must have been rats (but looks like they found their answer...) what exactly is it?

There are 3 threads on ball python x this and that, people wanting exotics, jags, etc, etc.. Is the colour of the snake all that people admire? If it is, that's pretty sad and demonstrates the shallow interest in reptiles. "colourful pets" - is that all? I apologise for the negativity in this...

All the talk about GTS of late has prompted me to finally upload some pics of a blue GTS we saw up in Cairns last year. Sorry about the pic quality, dying battery and full memory card.

So, as some Tree Snakes grow they change their colour from Green to Blue. This can take several years whether it be in the last few years of it's natural life or within the 1st 7 years or so. Why do they change colour? Is their scales losing colour and the skin underneath showing...
