drysdalia masterii

I was reading through the species on the SA basic list and i noticed that the masters snake was the only elapid on the basic list, is there any particular reason why? and also do they even exist in captivity?

I was wondering if anyone keeps Master snakes? Im just wanting to find out how they are kept, if they are flighty or snappy. I have read off the SA gov enviro web site that they dont need a special licence but i dont see it mentioned very much. Any thoughts??

I was browsing through a book on aussie snakes today & noticing all the amazing elapids we have & it made me wonder why I don't see more of them on here , why is it always the same 4 or 5 elapids that seem to be kept ?
