It was a...

We left Charters Towers and headed back to the coast and up to Tully. We arrive mid-afternoon, and went for a short walk to see what we could see. Down by the river I saw a little head peeking out of a hole in a tree stump. I waited patiently for the body to emerge.

Went to Paluma Dam on the w'end for a spot of camping and found this rather large skink. He was about 15cm stv and was rather happy to pose for the camera. I'm thinking maybe a Major Skink from the Egernia Genus, however I know nothing about skinks so help me out. He was found over a dam wall in...
Hi,
I'm on the look out to get a colony (4 or 5) of Egernia's ie depressa, stokesii, hosmeri or cunninghams (New England form). A clutch brood would be a good way to start a colony but if any one has older individuals that live amicably together that would be fine too.
