Havent made a herping thread in a while!
Spent an arvo with afew mates up just North of Melbourne, where I was keen to see some Copperheads.
We didnt find any, but we found plenty baby Little Whips!.

Skink: Small skinks (i.e eulamprus, saproscincus pseudemoia lampropholis). Blueys have tried (inlcuding pet one), haven't been bitten yet and am very paranoid lol
Dragon: Many jackies
Geckos/pygopods: Christinus marmoratus, once
Monitors: none...

I thought i made my backyard pretty snake proof (as i live near bush) but this little guy somehow managed to get through. He was around 30cm long and wasnt interested in striking me but wanted to be in his way, so i carefully caught him and let him out into the bush.

found heaps more blueys, but only gonna put a couple of pics and vids up...
on a typical winter Melbourne day (cold,rain,wind and a random 4 minutes of sunshine) i went out to one of my usual spots for a couple of hours :)
i usually just find a heap of spotted marsh frogs and a couple of marbled geckos, but found some better stuff today :D :D

ok so my dad was cleaning up some old dead trees and he picked up a bunch of twigs and was bitten by something by the time he dropped the sticks and looked for it it was gone, but there are 2 distinct punctures roughly .5 - 1cm apart, and he said there is a fair amount of pain in the bite area...
