Hello Everyone,
Recently adopted this big fella not long ago. He's doing well, eating lots checking out everything he can. My only problem is im not 100% sure on what exactly he is.
So .. what exactly is he?
Thanks,
I thought scrubbys start off with no pattern and it develops in the first few months....
Mine are around 5 months old now and all look like this
(pic is just after one shed last night)
I am guessing the screwed up incubation caused this with the pattern/faded color and it wont be genetic.
I am...

I've had Donna for just over 12 months now, and I've noticed that when she is in her enclosure she won't use her back legs. If I take her out and let her climb up my chest or run around the lounge room floor, she always uses them and is still quite strong. I've also noticed that if she does use...

It's obvious these days that the popularity contest when it comes to animals leans towards the money makers and up-and-coming colour phases. As a result of the trends, many species are forgotten or pushed aside and some left alone due to dull colouration, complexity of captive maintenance and...

Visited the parents the other day at Yanakie (just outside Wilsons prom) and found this guy basking on the side of the road. He/she was in fantastic condition, no ticks or mites that I could see, all toes etc. The interesting thing and you can see it in the pic was that it had seemed to flatten...
Greetings all,
The last 6 months have been a busy time for me at work and I have not been out much. I have had a few free days so will post photos of what I observed when out and about. Back in December, I headed to the Blue Mountains National Park for a day. This area is about a 2-hour...

Hey guys my brother was walking to school at the corner where he turns about 100metres from my house he found an adult blotched bluetongue just chillin on the footpath so he called me I didn't believe him at the time because we live in a suburban area. He was right so i ran down to where him and...
At the festival my son took a pic of that gorgeous BHP and put it on his face book with this little write up underneath the pic ...so I copied /pasted his little piece ..

Hey guys,
My dog attacked this little wild bluey just before,

After happily recieving a new blotched blue-tongue from a member here following Arby's passing I've noticed some worrying signs... however, vet trips cost money. Lots of money. Money that is in dire shortage after purchasing the set-up for the new addition.
But getting to my point... the large...

Well... just yesterday my blotched blue-tongue, Arby, passed away. Some of you may remember I posted a thread in the help section asking if the small scale damage was any cause for concern.
I can only guess but I think that the supposed mouth rot was the cause of his demise, as when I examined...
