With all the talk lately about how boring gtps are, I was wondering if people could have any NATIVE reptile they wanted, how many of us would actually get a gtp? And IF you could have any EXOTIC, what would it be?

Received the latest edition of the TRAFFIC Bulletin during the week, and noticed that there appears to be an increase in the illegal trade of these lizards.
March 2003, 42 Emerald Monitors (of two different subspecies) and 61 Green Tree Pythons seized at Prague Airport in Czech Republic...

On the herp tarder there is six of these guys for sale for $10,000 . Sez there are the frist in captivity sounds intresting. I was just wondering if anybody here has kept one or more of these before.
My folks on their property have a bright lime green lizard with cream bandings on its tail. They say it is a goanna and looks like a snakes head. Definitely not a dragon lizard or water dragon. Lives in trees near their house in far nq. I got excited initially thinking maybe emerald monitor...
