7 month old md ate a large adult mice

i took my md down to the reptile shop and askd what my she should be feed on...when he said a large adult mouse i was abit shockd so i took the mouse home and fed it....to my amazment she took it in no time ill try get some pics of her up
 
na just sharein my amazment i didnt think it cud take somethin like that she isnt rly that big
 
i fed my 7 month old woma a weener rat took him about 30 mins to eat and about 4 days to digest

its amazing isnt it how somethin so little can take somethin like that i wud of taken pics of it eatin but didnt wanna leave the tank 2 go find the cam

nice little MD. judging from the pics, 1 adult mouse is not enough imo. i would be feeding either 2 or possibly a small rat. after working in a pet shop for about 5 years, i can honestly say, most people do give their animals feed items that i would regard as undersize.... the reason we see 2 year olds the size of a 6 month old animal.
 
yeah my 7 month old coastal is on 2 velvet mice atm im gona keep him on mice till hes big enough to start on rats then hopefully swap over
 
yeah i have a 6 month old olive and it is eating 3 hopper to weaner rats a week
 
my md is only bout 500 long and prob he weith of a 10cent peice she isnt rly that big
 
I have a six month old Murray Darling eating weaner rats, ready to upsize soon.

Try him on a fuzzy rat next feed so how he goes.
