after my bearded dragons i might get blue tongue lizards

Eastern Blue-tongue.

It can grow as long as your ruler.

Blue tongues are probably the easiest and cheapest herp to keep.
Go for it.

Interesting thing(for me anyway)the eastern in the first and second photo has an indistinct temporal stripe and the nose is more rounded in profile. In Sydney the temporal band is very distinct and the nose is less rounded. I have a few like the one pictured but am unsure where the originated from.

blueys are easy to keep and breed, mine bred and i didn't even know if they were male and female

That's how I sex mine.
If babies come out of the hole under it's tail then it's a female.
