i think he is bettter then the other dude, he is just ti american, he needs to think that america is top. i mean 4 gods sake we are much better at war then them, they just have more money. u c the number of our casualties in relation to theirs!!! there is a huge diff.

There are some fairly horrible chickens that have yet to come home to roost ( the massive defict and the various wars ) so it is proberly only fair that he is in power to get the blame when things get really bad. Lets hope the upcomming recession isn't too bad.

Jimmy, the reason that goobers suffer more casualties than aussies is that they dont know what they are doing with all their sophisticated war toys. I remember playing war games with them at shoalwater bay off qld. The ship i was on wreacked havoc with them just by us putting up deceptive lighting and making a warship look like a party boat. They also tend to be trigger happy and manage to kill their own guys and everyone elses just as much as they kill the enemy.

I say if you start a job - stick it out until it's finished or it finishes you! To drop troops out of a place like Iraq is a slap in the face for anyone and everyone who has died because of it. You can't bring flowers to a gun fight! Sadly that is the plain and simple truth. Consider if the west had an event like the Muslamic Ramadan. We would have terrorist strikes on that event to the tune you would never imagine possible - yet because we are the 'sensible' ones it runs it's course with virtually NO security! I agree the US probably needs to re-think it's bombing practices - obviously their intellegence hasn't been that great during this whole ordeal - let alone accurate.

I can see another war if Bush discovers another country with oil. That man is fueled by 2 things...Oil (money) and an overwhelming self-serving attitude to his Christian beliefs. Saw a doco on Bush not too long ago and some of the things were quite interesting and scary.

Bush was the better man for the job, read about the history of john kerry, and then ask yourself if things would of been all that different if bush didn't get the re-election. Kerry got into politics through being a spoke person against the vietnam war, but its the reasons why and the skeletons he hides in the closet that are the scariest thing..............this is just my thoughts, who's to say he won't win next time anyway...

I'll take a positive leaf out of the US's book during the war with Japan as an example of the US and it's rebuilding record for what could be considered as rougue countries - Japan was certainly one of them!

Yeah sure At the horror of Hiroshima and Nagasaki being levelled by a US Atomic bomb, it has always been the US who has stood by our country at an enormous unnecessary cost to them and prevented us from being - now read this carefully - TAKEN OVER - by the japanese. I'm not condoning that everything they have done in the past has been right, but I'm certainly not saying they've done everything wrong either. After the bombing of those two japanese cities who else was it but the United States to build it up again - also at considerable cost - manage it, and turn it back over to the japanese hierarchy as an economic superpower.

To claim oil has much to do about anything is sticking your head in the sand - Sadi Arabia has stacks more and would be a much easier target. Iraq would never have been invaded had Saddam followed the simple UN guidelines imposed upon him during the first gulf war. He flaunted it and now he and may others - again most certainly the US - has had to pay the price. I've got no time for TYRANTS or TERRORISTS and I wish them every Hell imaginable. You are indeed protesting about the very thing that our countries have believed, died and fought for - it's what has won Bush another term in office, it's called DEMOCRACY and I believe it's alive and well and doing a damn good job! My 10cents worth :wink:
