according to the thread, all he did was just keep the plainest babies from 1 clutch once, then there clutch contained a lighter even few, and then the third generation clutch hatched 4 albinos!

The ORIGINAL parents were just two yellow phase. Just a freak of nature I guess, but there cool, post was from a year ago so i wonder how they are doin now

I know of someone other than Bob who said that they had albinos that would have been available this year, but none ever came up for sale.
He also went on to say to me 'not to bother buying any' because just about all of them die at 12mths of age so they can't reproduce. I guess that the only way around it would be to 'power feed' them and breed them at about 10mths. Mind you, I reckon that would be cruel to the under developed animal.
As for those lil babies in that pic - I'm sorry... I think they're HORRID!! lol, it's all personal taste :)

I think they look cool, I love albinos, something a bit different IMO.

I can't see how thisis possible as the animals that produced the albinos would have been hets which had to come from an albino cross normal pairing or an albino and a het or 2 albinos but as apparently 1/4 of the clutch were albino so the parents would definitely have been hets which had to come from an albino cross normal pairing the generation before.I know albinos are a freak of nature but they usually don't just pop up from captive bred animals which have usually been bred for generations.

I love albinos and would love to see these guys available to us herpers.Splitmore was the other person who bred them and his died also....i wonder if they can survive on a minimum amount of UV like in an outside shade cloth enclosure or low uv globe with plenty of suppliments which i know aren't as good as the real thing but these guys need different husbandry requirements obviously being albino, so sooner or later if the parents that produced the albinos are still breeding someone will workout how to keep them alive and healthy well into adulthood.

yeah i have no idea how either Browns thats just what he wrote in the thread..

How are albino blueys kept? I know there are some around that havent dies at young ages how are they kept?

Do blueys need uv?Kept em as a kid but not into lizards that much, although a friend of mine breeds heaps of blueys and reckons they don't need uv just calcium suppliments...i have no idea but would've thought they'd need uv for sure,do land mullets need uv too?
