ok well on wednesday i phone up the customer service people and chat with a lady and she said she would look into whats going on with my application etc. i also told her that i put the po box adress instead of the street address due to the fact that the person i am getting the snake off of dosen't want to risk giving his address out just in case of possible thefts of his animals or something like that. she said that should be fine. anyways on thursday the aplication comes back and it bassically says i filled it out wrong due to the po box address... so i call up today and talk to a lady who says you MUST have the street adress.... this is becoming a major pain is the butt,

anyways i faxed off the application in with a letter explaining the situation, still a wee bit annoyed at ye old government but i would hate to know how long it would have taken if the labour gov was in charge :roll:

Yeh slackra its a pain in the butt this address thing,here in NSW they dont worry as long as you put the name and lic number and generally i put suburb but some guys will not give out there correct address.Once they put that number in computer they know all anyway and if its wrong its your fault,it seems though they are being unreasonable regarding your circumstance.

I've done given a PO Box address before for a import permit and when they sent it to me, it had the street address on that anyway. So much for keeping an address secret.

I think that the prob here is that on the application for the import permit it pecifies that you must have the full street addy - not a PO box. Still, it woulda been nice if the first lady told you that
