Are these cysts or more sinister

These are pics of my friend's Bearded dragon. She took him to the vet who said cysts2.jpgthey were only cysts. She isn't so sure, so I said I would ask here if anyone has seen them before. She is going to take him to a Herp vet as soon as she finds one in the area. (Mackay) All ideas would be appreciated, including vet details if possible

They are not cysts they are a fungal infection that is highly contagous and is usually associated with damp cold enclosures.If you slice them of they will just grow back, a bit like a wort.I think it's actual name is dermatophatis or something that sounds like that.Treatment will include keeping the animal nice and warm and on a clean floor with maybe a course of antibiotics.Hope this helps a little.

I have copied and reposted it to her facebook page. Thanks for the reply, she will get him to a vet. Her animals are her life and she's worried sick about him and now will be about the others he shares with.
