Well my beautiful baby boy is only ten weeks old and he has sprouted a tooth already.

Good effort! Hopefully you didn't get mega-teething symptoms. My daughter started early, but the cost was great... :p

My daughter is 5 months and nothing yet, but her gums bother her often :-(

Watch out for the chomp. ,,lol way to go. Toothpaste is a good soother for the kiddie too. And green ant and bee stings. Just saying :)

Tooth paste hey. I will be noting that down for the long whingy road ahead. I think he will be fine the tooth broke through today and last night wasn't fun but that was the first we knew about it.

I must be lucky, we didn't even no my son was getting teeth until u could see them. Was only abit grumpy for a few teeth.

My son made sure i knew when every single tooth was on its way lol
Will be trying the tooth paste though :)

With our 4 girls I used rum during teething... I slept right through!

I dont know about toothpaste, it should be spat out and obviously a 10 week old baby can't be taught to spit. My boys didn't get teeth until they were 12 months old, they didn't really play up at all but would get diarrhea with a really distinct smell.

Fresh Lemons and bongela for our little man.. 9months and 8 teeth so far :) he is doing well.. Likes a good dry wafer to chew on to.. Must help :)

Those amber teething necklaces work quite well for alot of babies as well.

Thanks everyone for the advise. I think I will wait on the tooth paste till he can gargle and spit.

the amber beads have proven to work wonders! i work in day care and the amount of kids that have a drastic change after wearing them is amazing. my niece has been teething since she was about 8 weeks and shes almost 7 months now but the teeth are yet to break the surface just constantly going up and down. and she lets everyone no just how horrible they are!!
with the bonjela you just have to be careful how much and when you give it to baby because it is a mild anesthesia and can be harmful if given to much. many of the centres i worked at actualy wont give it to the kids without a signed form and a specific plan of when and how much one of them even requiring a doc cert. others just give it whenever the child seems to need it.

I must admit I was skeptical until a friend of mine had her daughter's break. Even she was saying she wasn't sure they were doing anything, maybe her girl was just a good teether... all of a sudden no more beads and her girl was going monkey-poo. I want to get some for my son now :D He's having a bit of a rough time of it. Teething later than my other two and the two bottom ones have come in super-crooked, but I'm not really fussing over that until his permanent teeth come through. They are huge, so it could be a sign of big growth to come...

you can get them off Ebay. i was very skeptical about them to begin with aswell. until i saw the difference in the kids when i took them off. even considered demon possession hahaha.
i think my sister got a bracelet and the necklace version for $10 or something off Ebay
