For those of you who have been waiting to find out, Ness finally had our baby last night. Here's a bit of a rundown on the events.

Well, what a night, contractions started at 11pm :? , so we went to the hospital. The midwife said Ness still had a bit to go and that we should go home and have a rest.

We were back there at 1am :? as her contractions were quite close together. At 2am Ness had an epidural  , thank god for epidurals, this took away the pain that Ness was suffering. She has a low pain tolerance.

They waited till 6am when the Dr came in to see how she was going. They adminstered a drug to help bring on the baby, no luck.......thank god for epidural...... :D

Finally at 1pm they decided a "C" section was necessary as the babies head was to big for natural birth. Finally just before 2pm, after a 10min struggle getting the buggar out, we had our new son.

Baby is well and so is Ness, she is a bit sore, as you would expect, but other than that and being tired we are all well.

We have named him Jarrod.

I will post up some pice soon.

Thanks and regards
Darren

hahaha

She went through 3 hours of excruciating, can't stand up straight, or speak, or breathe during, stomach cramps in an already sore and tight tummy, before needing an epidural and she has a low pain tolerance?????

I lasted an hour before screaming for relief and asking the doctors to cut my throat. She beats me by 2 full hours. I call her my hero !

Congrats Hugsta, to you and your new family. :)

Oh god Daz is a Dad :)
Congrats mate hope it all goes well :)

lol Wrasse, that's it. It's the worse pain imaginable in your back and stomach....but also the best pain in the world :)

Enjoy every moment hugsta, it'll go faster than you can imagine.

Congratulations to you both! That's fantastic news! :D It's honestly the best experience you can ever go through IMO. Scariest but the best!

Too bad there isn't an epidural for the hubbies   At least something to knock the edge off the anxiety hehehehe
