Hi all here is Banjo my GTF. He's grown so much. He is a very shy frog, i never see him eat and isn't at all interested in taking a pinkie mouse. Is there any tricks to it?
Let me know what you think of him. Thanks

Mine will take live roaches right out of my hand mate. He'll even take them out of hand if I remove him from the enclosure. Invest in a little pair of blunt tongues if you don't want your fingers getting swallowed as well LOL

Sounds odd, GTF not eating all it see's. I have a very large female that has a bad feeding response problem, and will bite my hand whether I'm holding a bug or not. What sort of temps are you keeping the frog at? Do you have any heat on it?

Looks like it eats something.
I tweezer feed mine and they'll take anything they see on the end of a pair of forceps.

I am thinking of getting one, or a red eyes. What type of substrate do they need?

I have three gtfs and they dont eat everything I leave for them either, I have had them for over two years and they never have. I heard the "becareful GTFS are pigs and will eat to much" thing as well but mine never have. They will eat out of my hand (roaches) and I do see them eat though.

meshe1969, yeah i've read that a few times, thanks anyway.
Thanks guys, i actually saw him eat some crickets last night so i was pretty happy about that.
He has tripled his size in the 3 months that i've had him, i going to be getting him a friend tomorrow. I might hear him croak if i'm lucky.
