basic LC licence

hi all,
i was just on the pails for scales site and it said that they have wallabies for sale, and i know they are not herps but its still the only place i know were to ask so what is it, can anyone get one, can i keep one in a in the outer suburbs of brisbane.

in victoria our license is for birds reptiles and mammals there is basic and advanced , i think wallabies are on advanced so anyone with advanced can keep them.

also does any one know the rules and regs on them? how much they cost or any thing you need to have or do to have one

the only problem he ever had was a dog got one but thats been fixed :twisted: other then that they breed like rabbits

down here you can if you have a large backyard. don't know about up there.

In Qld I'm pretty sure you cannot keep them. NSW you can only keep Plains Rats and Spinifex hopping Mice and only those because they used to be bred for animal testing.

It is illegal to privetley own any mammal in QLD without a scientific purposes or public display(zoo) permit.
