Today I bought a bearded dragon from a reptile store and as soon as I put it in its new enclosure it just stopped moving and closed its eyes. If I take it out it won't move it will just sit there. Even if I move its arms they won't go back to where they were they will just lie there. I was thinking maybe it might be going into brumination but its summer. I know beardys are lazy but this seems a bit odd. The heating is fine at 35 hot spot and around 27 cold end. Anyone know what's going on?

I can only speak from my experience. It can take a few days for a Beardy to settle into its new home. Mine took close to a week to get comfortable, move around and eat veges!
After that, everything was good. No need to panic, especially it's only the 1st day!
Just provide all the right stuff, heating, lighting, temps etc etc...

hot spot wants to be a little bit warmer. around low to mid 40s then warm end 35is and cool end around 27..

but id say maybe he is scared? might just be a settling period?

I just got my first one yesterday too, he is almost 3 though. He did the same thing this morning when I went to feed him, snubbed his nose at his usual vegies but chowed down on his crickets!
He's a free range type of Beardie(last owners gave him run of the house) and right now he's roaming the house trying to climb every wall and window he comes across haha!

Just give it a few days to settle in and it should get back to normal...
