Hey guys,
Lately over the past few weeks my bearded dragon has been burying it self. I have dug her out and stuff, i am just worried she might die from getting suffocated, so the main point of this thread, is why is she burying her self?Is it normal?Next time she does it, what should i do?Oh and its a female her names Lily(I just know someone who will ask lol)

yes it's normal for a bearded dragon to bury it's self. They do it in the wild. Mine don't do it as they are on newspaper.

Heres some pictures, first couple is ones of her in the hole, the last few is of the dragon its self!

She's cute. I would just leave her she'll be fine. Does she have a hide in the enclosure? I found the red sand really hard to clean with the beardie poop. I have it for my geckos though and it's ok as their poop isn't as messy and stinky.

haha yeh thanks! Yeh they have a hide, i just recently changed it though from a large tree stump, was great but took up heaps of room, to this other hide, so when me and dad have finished there bigger tank they will get the stump back, although next time i change there tank around, i may just fit it in there!
