Hi all, I have been using Mega-ray Externally Ballasted MVB for some time now the best UV source I have ever used (and I've used a lot of them). I have ordered a replacement but that could take months :(

My enclosure is purpose built for the use of a MVB so would prefer to replace with another but may be open to other options, I have used different fluros and compacts in the past most with less than desirable results. Really I would like peoples opinion on other Mercury Vapours available including those I haven't mentioned.

Currently locally I can get my hands on the URS OZ Bright and the Exo terra Solar Glo.

I have had bad experiences with both these brands in the past (not MVB's) Does anyone have experience with either of these bulbs?

I know this has been covered before but alot of the posts are getting on and maybe there are more of you switching to the more popular MVB's?

I use the Oz Bright MVB and it seems to work great.
However, I remember reading on another forum that the production of the Exo-Terra bulbs was changed (or cheapened)
and as such, their UVB output is quite low.

I've got both bulbs, but moved to the Oz Bright after reading about this and because it's a lower wattage.
As far as visible light, the Oz Bright is slightly more yellow whilst the Exo-Terra is bright white.
