Beardies sleep in the funniest positions!!

I think they just fall asleep where ever they are when the lights go off.

Puppy, those pics remind me of some of the positions my jackies have slept in, so many people (well, about half a dozen anyway ) have seen them and freaked out telling me one or more of my lizards are dead, one person actually screamed and said there was a dead lizard in there. Sometimes I can't convince people that they're quite happy and nothing is wrong. Crazy little lizards

Oooh I'm so glad you share the same experience!! Yes, heaps of people have told me that my lizards looks dead when still...and when they walk they look like scaley zombies I found out that beardies are actually quite hard to wake too. I poked him with all sorts of delicacies but all I get is a nasty stink eye

and WOH how big are those water dragons? I knew they grew to a huge size, but they look really big! GORGEOUS

with the size of the tanks these guys sleep in u would think they would find somwhere more comfetable to sleep.

Yuhhh! Especially with my big guy who free roams the house, he has to pick the most awkward spots. Yesterday he was at it again. After suddenly waking up at midnight, he ran around the room looking for food. After I hand fed him some crickets, he did a power ranger act, searching for evil looking tiles. He then jumped up to a really weird spot, stood up, put both of his hands on the wall and fell asleep.
