hi all just a few questions i need. i have my male bobbing his head and the female is waving her arm around and i just wanted too know is there a way i can tell if they will breed and also how long it will take?

how old are they?
mine have been doing those actions since they were 5 months old and way too young to breed.

chances are if u put them together they will breed,...shouldnt take long and 1 mating will produce 3-4 clutches of eggs.

i'm guessing theyre housed seperately,...so watch them and seperate once finished (thats providing theyre old enough to safely breed)

The girly will have to get fatter first.

Mine is semi lumpy now. So I'm hoping for eggs soon. Not sure myself how long from the feeling eggs stage till they come out?

She will start digging around furiously in the last 3-5 days before she lays, that is when you need to provide her with a lay box. Apart from that you should be able to see and feel eggs in her abdomen around the last week before she lays.

Sorry to jump in but its sort of on the same topic,

Where do i buy vermiculite from. Is it only sold in pet shops or will bunnings have it???

Cheers
Colby
