Hi,
My Bearded dragon has been laying eggs 1 every few days. (2 so far) Does this mean that they are likely to be unfertilised?
They are lovely & rounded when they are fresh. We have put the 2nd one in vermiculite & under heat, but it has collapsed a bit. I spray it each day.

thanks :?

obovious question - but is there a male with her?

first off DO NOT SPRAY THE EGG!!! you will drown the foetus. you need to make sure the egg is in an air tight container with vermiculite that is moistened. usually 1 ;1 water ratio meaning that the weight of the vermiculite is the wieght of the water u put in. if its not enough spray water onto the substrate NOT THE EGG. incubate at around 30 degres.

I would also take ur beardy to a vet! it sounds like she might be egg bound. i dont think its normal to be laying over so many days! they should all be layed at once. so yeah ASAP to the vet :)

The way I like to use vermiculite is to grab the desired amount, dip it in to a bucket of water and squeeze until it is only moist....not wet!
