Cool, give them water that is deep enough to get their back wet, its good for sloughing and they will love u for it
But dont leave it in there overnight cos mine has a tendency to sleep in it with her head below the water line

i use plastic tubs 2 litres , gives them heaps of space to soak. never lost one(adults) of co**** not recomended for hatchos

mate I awoke the other morning to find my prize big guy dead in his water bowl- head below the water line- got out the paint scraper after telling my kid to go play outside- scooped up the body- almost shed a tear- and then he decides to open one eye and go BACK to sleep. Scared the CRAP outta me- I thought he was GONE....so we had a little chat and we decided it was in both our interests to no longer allow the water bowl to sleep over. Little mongrels ! Scared the hell outta me.

reptiles can survive longer than we think under water, especially water dragons of course. a wild EWD that lives in my backyard and has for the past 14years was in my pool for 2 days, never came up. then pops up and sits on his nice rock we have for him.
